Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. Along with epilepsy, it is one of the most common neurological diseases in young adults. Most patients are between 20 and 40 years old when symptoms first appear. In more than one-third of patients, MS begins with sensory disturbances: Arms or legs feel numb or the skin tingles. The aim of therapeutic measures is to maintain the patient’s independence in everyday life. The best achievable quality of life should be ensured for the patient.

My name is Abdulaziz, and I am from Saudi Arabia.

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago. Unfortunately, there are no specialized clinics in my country that have experience with my disease.

Therefore, I searched the internet for clinics abroad and came across Kliniken Schmieder in Allensbach. I found the best team of doctors and the rest of the medical staff there.

At the beginning of my treatment, I was very uncertain. However, the professionalism and care of the whole team, especially the doctors and therapists, made me feel very comfortable. I am very satisfied with my treatment here and found my stay very pleasant. Unfortunately, I had to leave, but I am sure I will return. I would have been very happy to come to the Kliniken Schmieder earlier.

To all other patients, I can say that you are part of the treatment, and you have to help yourself first to reach your goal. The expectation should not lie solely in the therapy/treatment.
