The International Office

For many years, the team of the International Office consulted and supported patients from the first inquiry throughout their stay at Kliniken Schmieder and after their return home for queries or in case of any problems. The Kliniken Schmieder have two separate wards for international patients at the clinic locations in Allensbach and Heidelberg.

Today, five employees who speak German, English, Arabic, and Russian support our patients and their relatives in all matters. The International Office team is the single point of contact between our clients and the individual departments and thus simplifies the inquiry process and access to Kliniken Schmieder.

Many years of cooperation and experience with international patients enable the Kliniken Schmieder to offer international patients and their families a range of treatments tailored to their individual and cultural needs, combined with a high level of service.

The services of the Team of the International Office include:

• Handling your primary inquiry and providing information on your stay at Kliniken Schmieder.
• Coordination of financial matters and planning your admission.
• Visa support.
• Assistance with organizing the stay (e.g., travel planning and searching for accommodation for family members).
• Your direct contact during the entire stay for all non-medical matters.
• Interpreting service during the treatment in Arabic and Russian.
• Recommendation of leisure activities and organization of further offers for relatives.
• Translation of the final medical report into English or Russian.
