Top Rehabilitation Clinic 2023: Another award for Kliniken Schmieder

This year, Kliniken Schmieder has again been awarded the “Top Rehab Clinic 2023” – for the seventh time in a row. The seal was awarded as part of Germany’s most extensive comparison of rehabilitation clinics by Focus magazine, which annually examines around 1,700 specialist rehabilitation clinics nationwide. The locations of Kliniken Schmieder in Allensbach, Gailingen, Constance, and Heidelberg once again achieved top scores in all assessment categories.

Decisive for awarding the seal were the reputation and the medical offer of the respective facilities. For this purpose, doctors, patient associations, self-help groups, and the social service staff from acute hospitals were surveyed nationwide. The experiences of patients and quality reports are also essential elements of the survey. They all attested to the excellent reputation of Kliniken Schmieder. Other selection criteria included medical equipment in areas such as therapy spectrum, hygiene measures, or structural quality.

Focus magazine determined the top rehabilitation clinics in cooperation with the research institute FactField from Munich, which conducted the survey, evaluated the data, and delivered the processed results to Focus. The research for the award for rehabilitation clinics was carried out for the seventh time. “We are pleased about the renewed award because it confirms our claim to improve all patient treatment processes continuously. The quality seal creates transparency and provides patients with a trustworthy orientation option when choosing their rehabilitation clinic,” says Paul-Georg Friedrich, Chairman of the Management Board of Kliniken Schmieder. “Successful rehabilitation can only work if everyone pulls together. A big thank you goes to our dedicated staff.”
