75th anniversary celebration of Kliniken Schmieder

On 25 November 2025, Kliniken Schmieder celebrated its 75th anniversary at the New Palace in Stuttgart, attended by 300 valued partners and guests.

The event included a welcome speech by Paul-Georg Friedrich, CEO of Kliniken Schmieder, a keynote speech by Manfred Lucha, Minister of Social Affairs, Health and Integration of Baden-Württemberg, and greetings from long-standing representatives of Kliniken Schmieder.

Kliniken Schmieder was founded in 1950 as a small clinic with 20 beds in Gailingen on the Upper Rhine and has developed into the largest provider of neurological rehabilitation in Baden-Württemberg. With six locations, around 1,400 beds, and 2,500 employees, it treats more than 14,500 patients annually across all neurological indications and severity levels.

For decades, the Kliniken Schmieder have also been active in scientific research and are continuously setting new standards in diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation. For 75 years, the organisation has applied and expanded its in-depth expertise daily – always intending to offer patients the best possible neurological treatment.
